Spent one week in Sierra Leone recruiting trainees for basic training in remote sensing at the Regional Remote Sensing Center in Ouagadougou.
Developed the concept and the project document for a sustainable land management capacity building project for UNDP/GEF. Found that there were no functioning savannah forest or mangrove forest management systems and designed a project to develop pilot participatory management systems for each.
