Sustainable Land Management Project Design Led the development of a GEF Medium-Sized Project for building institutional capacities for sustainable land management (SLM) in Mauritius and Rodrigues. Project design was presented to the Small Islands Developing States conference in January 2005 as a model SLM design for SIDS. 2004 & 2005.
Biodiversity Project Development/Supervision Provided technical and administrative supervision/backstopping under a UNOPS retainer contract for UNDP/GEF biodiversity initiatives in the western Indian Ocean island including Mauritius. Supported project development of marine biodiverisity conservation and analyzed concepts for invasive species control.
