Mid-term evaluation of the Tumen River international waters and biodiversity project covering China, North and South Korea, Russia and Mongolia. Visited institutions in Seoul and met with the deputy director of the Federation of Korean Industries who stressed the severe negative impacts of the recent dust storms on Korean industry. The dust storms resulting from the severely overgrazed open access range lands in China and Mongolia has closed down or severely restricted the computer chip and ship building industries in South Korea.
